Legal Assistant - Litigation

GrayRobinson, a full-service law and government consulting firm with 16 offices in Florida and Washington, D.C., has an immediate full-time Legal Assistant opening in our Tallahassee office with at least 5 years of litigation experience. This position provides high-level legal and administrative support to attorneys in a high-volume practice; assists in preparing cases from onset through post-trial; obtains and organizes case files daily; schedules and coordinates hearings, depositions, and conferences; assists with trial preparation; assists with document production, including creation and editing of correspondence and documents.

The ideal candidate possesses multiple skills, keen attention to detail, and effective proofreading and drafting skills. They must also have strong multitasking and organizational skills, knowledge and experience with a document management system, and the ability to work effectively with others under deadlines. Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary. Expertise in e-filing in state and federal courts is required.
