The team represents insurers that issue policies covering technology, cyber/data breach, privacy, and related risks.This role is ideal for someone with exceptional organizational and communication skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. We currently seek to fill this position for our Los Angeles office, and we also will consider qualified applicants for our San Francisco office.Key ResponsibilitiesWork closely with attorneys to manage a dynamic, high-volume practice.Prepare, proofread, and finalize a wide variety of documents, including correspondence, memoranda, and legal materials.Provide administrative support including reviewing and triaging emails and calls, scheduling conference calls, coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements, and maintaining attorney calendars and contacts.Maintain electronic files in compliance with current firm policies using the firm's document management system. Update firm database and run case lists and reports for attorneys.Collaborate with and help legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys to meet firm and client needs. Assist in organizing and prioritizing workload for attorneys and team.Foster professional, cooperative, and supportive relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients.Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with the utmost discretion and diplomacy.Handle incoming calls professionally and expeditiously.Welcome visitors and follow firm protocol with respect to visitors, including adding to building visitor log, setting up conference rooms, ordering catering, and handling any meeting logistics.In addition, role will include co-office administrator functions, including maintenance and restocking of conference rooms and kitchen/break room and distribution of mail and packages.Other general office administrative duties and projects.Qualifications3+ years of legal assistant experience requiredHighly proficient with Microsoft Word and ExcelDatabase experience preferredStrong attention to detailStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to complete work both independently and collaborativelyCommitment to providing excellent customer serviceStrong interpersonal skills and commitment to professionalism in all interactions with othersWork Location and ScheduleAtheria supports flexible working arrangements, including remote work when appropriate. The salary offered will be determined by a range of factors including but not limited to experience level, relevant skills, and location of position.
