Position Overview
This role combines Legal
Assistant responsibilities with Office Administration oversight.
Youll support attorneys with litigation tasks while also managing the daily
operations of a smaller office environment.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Assistant Duties
- Support attorneys in plaintiff personal injury
litigation matters
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents,
correspondence, and filings
- Handle e-filing in state and federal courts
and track critical deadlines
- Maintain and manage case calendars, deadlines,
and court schedules
- Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial
preparation materials
- Assist with trial prep, including organizing
exhibits and case files
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing
counsel as needed
Office Administration
Duties
- Oversee day-to-day office operations for a
satellite location
- Manage office supplies, vendors, and general
facility needs
- Serve as the point of contact for
visitors, calls, and internal coordination
- Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and
meeting coordination
- Support overall team efficiency by anticipating
needs and problem-solving
Qualifications
- 3-7 years of Legal Assistant experience (Plaintiff Personal Injury strongly preferred)
- Experience with litigation support, e-filing,
and docket management
- Strong knowledge of state and federal court
procedures and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a
fast-paced environment
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and
attention to detail
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal document
formatting
