Salary: up to $110K + full benefits

Position Overview

This role combines Legal Assistant responsibilities with Office Administration oversight. You’ll support attorneys with litigation tasks while also managing the daily operations of a smaller office environment.

Key Responsibilities

Legal Assistant Duties
  • Support attorneys in plaintiff personal injury litigation matters
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and filings
  • Handle e-filing in state and federal courts and track critical deadlines
  • Maintain and manage case calendars, deadlines, and court schedules
  • Coordinate depositions, hearings, and trial preparation materials
  • Assist with trial prep, including organizing exhibits and case files
  • Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel as needed

Office Administration Duties
  • Oversee day-to-day office operations for a satellite location
  • Manage office supplies, vendors, and general facility needs
  • Serve as the point of contact for visitors, calls, and internal coordination
  • Assist with scheduling, travel arrangements, and meeting coordination
  • Support overall team efficiency by anticipating needs and problem-solving

Qualifications
  • 3-7 years of Legal Assistant experience (Plaintiff Personal Injury strongly preferred)
  • Experience with litigation support, e-filing, and docket management
  • Strong knowledge of state and federal court procedures and deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and legal document formatting
