Job Title: Legal AssistantJob DescriptionThis role involves performing complex administrative and legal secretarial duties that require a thorough understanding of legal terminology, processes, and procedures. The position will interact with internal attorneys, external counsel, corporate executives, and customers, handling sensitive information with discretion and judgment.ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day administrative and project support to Legal leadership.Manage calendars, communications, and schedules.Coordinate domestic and international travel logistics and itineraries.Draft correspondence and materials with high accuracy.Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive corporate/legal data.Prepare expense reports and assist with invoices.Maintain legal files and documentation systems.Coordinate meetings and communications.Essential Skills2–5 years of experience in a Legal Assistant, Executive Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or similar support role within a law firm, corporate legal department, or professional services environment.Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and administrative processes.Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.Proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker (or similar legal invoice tracking system).Familiarity with OnBase (or similar PO payment system).Exposure to SAP and Workday or similar personnel management system.Experience supporting corporate legal, compliance, governance, litigation, or regulatory functions.Experience working with regulatory, compliance, or risk‑management documentation.High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years administrative or legal secretarial experience.Work EnvironmentAbility to work in a fast‑paced environment supporting several leaders; ability to prioritize and elevate issues as needed; strong communication and interpersonal skills; initiative and independence; flexibility and adaptability; collaborative; detail‑oriented and analytical.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.25/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
