    Frost Law is a growing, nationally recognized law firm based in Annapolis, Maryland , with more than 30 attorneys serving clients across tax, estates, bankruptcy, business law, and litigation. Our Tax Department works with businesses and individuals to navigate complex federal, state, and international tax matters. We pride ourselves on providing practical solutions in a collaborative and client-focused environment.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant to support our Tax Department . This in-office position, based in Annapolis, will provide direct administrative and case support to attorneys handling a variety of tax matters, including tax planning, controversy, compliance, and transactional issues. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft, edit, and proofread correspondence, memoranda, and legal documents.Organize and maintain both electronic and physical client files to ensure accuracy and accessibility.Assist with preparation and filing of documents with courts, the IRS, and state agencies.Track case deadlines, manage task lists, and ensure timely follow-up.Communicate with clients to schedule meetings and obtain necessary information or documentation.Support attorneys with administrative tasks related to tax advisory, controversy, and compliance matters.Coordinate with other legal assistants and paralegals across departments to ensure smooth workflow.QualificationsMinimum of 2+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in a tax, corporate, or litigation practice.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently while supporting multiple attorneys.Professionalism, discretion, and commitment to client service.What We OfferCompetitive salary commensurate with experience.Professional development and training opportunities.Supportive, team-oriented environment in our Annapolis office.This is an in-office position based in Annapolis, MD.#J-18808-Ljbffr
