We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and experienced paralegal to play an important role on our legal team. You'll draft legal documents such as affidavits, prepare briefs, conduct legal research for trial preparation, and keep case files and other important information neatly organized and easily accessible. If you're interested in advancing your paralegal career with opportunities for growth, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesConduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issuesAssist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavitsTake care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documentsCoordinate law office activity, including the drafting subpoenas and coordinating with process serversHelp lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnessesDocument Preparation: Draft and maintain a high volume of legal documents, including Wills, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts , Powers of Attorney, and Advance Healthcare Directives.Probate Administration: Open probate proceedings, prepare petitions for administration, track court deadlines, and manage the valuation and distribution of estate assets.Real Estate Support: Prepare deeds, affidavits, and closing statements; coordinate title searches and property transfers related to estate settlements.Client Engagement: Conduct thorough client intake interviews to gather asset information and provide regular status updates with professionalism and discretion.Legal Research & Filings: Conduct legal research on case law and state-specific regulations. File motions, pleadings, and other court documents via e‑filing systems.File Management: Maintain organized physical and digital case files, ensuring all compliance calendars and deadlines are strictly met.Handle e‑filing and document recording processes with Florida courts.Qualifications3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingStrong oral and written communication skillsCandidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preferenceABA‑approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate's degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor's degree desiredCandidates should possess high‑level organizational skills, and time‑management skillsEducation: Degree in Legal Studies or a related field; Paralegal Certificate from an ABA‑approved program preferred.Experience: Three years of experience specifically in probate, estate planning, and/or real estate law.
