Legal CounselA leading global luxury skincare CPG/ retail brand, role based at their Midtown, New York headquarters.Job DescriptionVaried responsibilities in this role as Legal Counsel include:Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts and agreements.Provide legal advice and support on regulatory compliance and risk management.Identify and mitigate potential legal risks across the business.Support intellectual property matters, including trademarks and copyright issues.Collaborate with internal teams to address legal concerns and ensure alignment with business goals.Manage external legal counsel as needed for specialized legal matters.Stay current on changes in laws and regulations affecting the CPG industry.Assist in dispute resolution and litigation management when necessary.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state, or local law.
