Legal Invoice Analyst

Summary:

• Location: Minneapolis, MN

Responsibilities:

• Perform quality assurance testing for the Legal Bill Analysis Center of Excellence (LBACOE).
• Conduct expert peer reviews of LBACOE invoice analyst work using specialized legal expertise and knowledge.
• Make adjustments to invoice line item entries and document comprehensive justifications for such adjustments.
• Engage in written communications with law firm vendors regarding adjustments made to invoice line item entries.
• Support the appeals mediation efforts by extracting core legal concepts and analyzing the full legal context of invoices.
• Provide guidance to business unit partners regarding issues or opportunities within the LBA process.

Requirements:

• Expertise in legal context and terminology.
• Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and make necessary adjustments to legal invoices.
• Strong written communication skills for engaging with law firm vendors.
• Capability to support appeals mediation efforts and document expert-to-expert discourse.
