Legal Office Services Associate
Pay Rate: $20.02 - $21.56/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
Location: Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
Duration: 4-Month Contract with Possible Extension
Overview
Seeking a professional, customer-focused Office Services Associate to support a law firm environment. This role combines mailroom, print production, shipping/receiving, and hospitality support. The manager is primarily looking for someone with excellent communication skills, professionalism, and a strong customer service mindset. Technical tasks can be trained. Experience with mail processing, package handling, and print equipment is helpful.
Work Environment
- Law firm setting.
- Cross-trained to assist with hospitality and printer fleet support.
- No driving required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Business casual attire. Jeans permitted on Fridays only. No open-toed shoes.

Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service to attorneys, staff, and visitors.
- Sort, process, and deliver incoming and outgoing mail.
- Support print production and copier operations.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities.
- Provide hospitality support as needed.
- Operate and troubleshoot office equipment including printers, copiers, and postage machines.
- Ensure accurate handling of packages and shipping documentation.
- Support document management and workflow processes.
- Work independently while maintaining a professional office environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous copy center, mailroom, or office services experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of legal industry experience strongly preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Technical aptitude with printers, copiers, postage machines, and other office equipment.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures.
- Basic electronics knowledge preferred.
- Strong organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and written instructions.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
