Legal Operations Internship – Fall 2026Job ID: 2890449The Jeffcoat Firm is committed to helping everyday people in crisis. Our Intern program supports the Personal Injury and Criminal Defense legal teams.ResponsibilitiesManage outgoing mail correspondence for Civil Litigation and Criminal Defense case managers.Deliver and pick up legal documents, discovery materials, records, and resources from various locations across South Carolina.Aid in administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, photocopying, scanning, and faxing.Learn Litify to manage the remote correspondence logs.Cover for in-office receptionists as needed.Prepare and mail new client welcome kits.Help with database and mailing list management.Support firm leadership with special projects.Assist the marketing/social media team with content creation.QualificationsActively enrolled in an undergraduate program.Clean driving record with no speeding tickets.Reliable transportation; willing to run legal errands with mileage and parking reimbursement.3.5 GPA or higher.Ability to work 16–24 hours per week.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Team-oriented and collaborative.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.Compensation and SchedulePaid position: $12.00 per hour.Flexible schedule to accommodate classes; position starts Monday, August 17, 2026.Opportunity for continued employment beyond a single semester.Supportive leadership with focus on outreach.Required DocumentsResumeCover LetterUnofficial transcriptsProjected Fall 2026 class scheduleLocation807 Gervais St, Suite 201, Columbia, SC 29201 (Primary)The Jeffcoat Firm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
