About the Role
TempExperts is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Practice Coordinator to support a busy Health Care Law team in St. Petersburg, FL. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment, manages multiple priorities with ease, and brings a client-focused mindset. You will play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting attorneys and staff with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Health Law Practice Leader in managing daily operations across a team of attorneys and legal professionals
Serve as the primary point of contact for client communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and document requests
Manage new client onboarding, including documentation, conflict checks, and engagement letters
Coordinate meetings and deadlines, including Zoom, Teams, and in-person scheduling
Maintain digital client files and internal databases with accuracy and confidentiality
Assist with CLE tracking, bar membership renewals, reimbursements, and invoice processing
Conduct basic regulatory research, including Sunbiz entity lookups and physician profiles
Support compliance-related filings and transactional tasks such as EIN applications and annual reports
Draft simple operating agreements and assist with closings
Handle sensitive medical and legal information with discretion
Qualifications
High school diploma required; additional legal or administrative training preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal setting, ideally in a coordinator or senior assistant role
Experience in health care law, corporate filings, or compliance work highly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and Aderant is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Professional demeanor with strong client-service skills
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn
Flexibility to work extended hours when needed
