About the Opportunity
A global organization is seeking a Legal Project & Operations Administrator to join its Legal Department on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in legal operations, risk management, and compliance, with the potential to convert to a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Support insurance claims administration, including auto, workers' compensation, and cargo claims
Track claims, follow up on status, and coordinate documentation with internal teams and external insurers
Maintain accurate records of claims, correspondence, and legal documentation
Review and process invoices and billing statements related to insurance and legal expenses
Assist with budget tracking and reporting
Provide administrative support to the Legal team (document prep, filing, scheduling)
Organize and maintain legal files, case records, and compliance materials
Coordinate communication with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, and regulatory bodies
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Legal Studies, Risk Management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1-3 years of experience in legal, compliance, or risk support roles
Familiarity with legal and/or insurance terminology
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to operational/manufacturing environments
Standard physical requirements (sitting, computer use, light movement as needed)

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 per hour
