POSITION
Dispute Resolution Assistant

Position Type: Temporary/Temp-Hire
Schedule: M-F, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Assignment Length: Approximately 3-Months, possibly longer.

DESCRIPTION
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Dispute Resolution Assistant to support their dispute resolution team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with knowledge or experience in the California workers' compensation field who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review, extract, and summarize information from medical reports and claims data
• Draft plans of action and prepare status reports for claims adjusters and litigation team review
• Communicate with medical providers to obtain billing records, medical reports, and demand documentation
• Gather and organize documentation from clients and court systems
• Scan and upload incoming mail and documents into internal systems
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and service providers
• Assist in preparing cases for litigation

REQUIREMENTS

• Familiarity with California labor laws (preferred)
• Experience in workers' compensation is a plus
• IEA Certificate or Certificate of Self-Insurance (preferred, not required)
• Strong writing and documentation skills
• Professional verbal communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach
