LHH is recruiting a Legal Support Coordinator for a downtown law firm. The Legal Support Coordinator supervises and coordinates the daily workflow of legal administrative assistants in support of the transactional practice groups including corporate, M&A, Tax and Real Estate. Responsibilities include coordinating the daily workflow for transactional legal administrative assistants, reviewing administrative processes and procedures, establishing and maintaining harmonious working relationships, monitoring and coordinating resource materials, conducting effective performance evaluations, assisting with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members, maintaining employees' timecards, time off requests, and remote work requests, assisting attorneys with preparation of legal documents and general correspondence, extensive editing, proofreading, and redlining of legal documents, coordinating, assembling, and organizing closing materials, drafting standard correspondence and formatting documents, coordinating and managing attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and making travel arrangements, entering time entries for attorneys accurately and efficiently into the firm's timekeeping system, maintaining paper and electronic client and administrative files in accordance with firm procedures and the document management system, and attention to other administrative tasks including conflict checks, new client/matter intake process, client bills, mail, and expense and reimbursement requests.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, minimum 5 years of corporate/transactional legal administrative assistant experience, previous supervisory experience preferred, working knowledge of legal documents, formatting, table of contents, styles, and track changes, and ability to manage workflow and delegate assignments and projects.
