This role will be based in our Denver office and regular in-office presence is required for day-to-day operations.Position SummaryThis Legal Support Specialist provides advanced administrative support to attorneys engaged in corporate, healthcare and M&A matters. This role requires expertise in corporate, healthcare, and M&A law, and document management. This candidate should be flexible to work overtime as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesProvides comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys in the corporate, healthcare and M&A practice areas.Drafts, edits, proofreads, and processes legal documents, including correspondence and various corporate documents.Manages document workflows including filing, iManage organization, signature collection, and distribution of closing documents.Prepares signature pages for execution and distributes same to all closing parties via electronic means (email, SimplyAgree, Docusign, Adobe E-Sign, etc.)Compiles fully executed transaction documents via PDF, including inserting executed signature pages as well as any related Exhibits/ Schedules.Support corporate closing logistics and project management in M&A transactionsUpdates and maintains transaction related information and legal files (both paper and electronic); organizes, scans and files documents in a designated orderManages document deliveries and tracks final executed documentationReviews and coordinates invoices and billing, correspondence, and expense reimbursementsOpens new client matters and submits conflicts request for new matter openingsPrepares draft engagement lettersMaintains calendars in Outlook, arranges client meetings, prepares agendas and audits responses, arranges travel, and collates documentsReceives and/or screens telephone calls for supported attorneys and conveys messages as necessaryAssists with overflow work and special projectsProvides backup support to Legal Support Specialist teamQualificationsSkills & CompetenciesExperience with complex legal documentsAbility to maintain high standards, use good judgment, seek out ways to contribute, and anticipate needsStrong attention to detail; established organizational, analytical, and critical-thinking skills; and the ability to manage time effectivelyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate well in a teamAbility to work under pressure to meet strict deadlinesHigh degree of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential informationEducation & Prior ExperienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred3+ years of corporate law experienceTechnologyProficiency with rules for court document filingsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn new software applications quicklyDemonstrates a basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI), including core capabilities, limitations, and importance of data privacy, accuracy, verification, and ethical considerations within a professional services environmentFamiliarity with or willingness to learn AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar tools) and incorporate them responsibly into day-to-day workflows to enhance daily work tasks as appropriate and/or directedProactive approach to learning and adapting to emerging AI and related technologies and contributes to a culture of innovationExpected Pay Range For This Position Is$36.30–$42.52 per hourActual pay will be adjusted based on experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
