About the Position
Provides professional and administrative assistance to a City Councilmember serving a designated City ward. Manages constituent services to include handling citizen requests, addressing ward issues, researching information, and assisting with policy development. Coordinates delegated work plans, performs policy and work flow analysis, and implements Councilmember decisions. Manages public relations initiatives including working with individual constituents and groups regarding complex community issues. Organizes the Councilmembers initiatives, coordinates efforts with other City staff, and leads the work assignments of designated staff.
