Our client, a global technology company specializing in consumer electronics, software, and digital services, is looking to hire a Supply Demand Planner in Austin, TX.

Pay Rate Range: $45 to $48/hr on w2, depending on experience

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper product allocation and execution by balancing supply and demand across distribution sites.
  • Develop and manage product supply plans that support quarterly financial and operational goals.
  • Serve as the cross-functional interface between Sales, Operations, Regional Planning Teams, and external partners.
  • Create and manage weekly allocation plans across supported channels.
  • Monitor reporting and execution to ensure supply commitments are met where inventory is available.
  • Evaluate supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to minimize customer impact.
  • Drive strategic supply chain initiatives that improve operational efficiency and long-term business performance.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) operational activities to ensure successful product launches.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities across systems, tools, and workflows, and lead implementation efforts.
  • Manage supply execution across multiple distribution centers and origin locations.
  • Analyze backlog and open order data and make execution decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Support customer shipment commitments, fill-rate targets, revenue goals, and operational metrics.
  • Maximize daily billings while maintaining service-level expectations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance and sustainability objectives.

Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, operations, demand planning, supply planning, procurement, finance, consulting, or data management.
  • Proven experience managing supply and demand planning activities in a complex business environment.
  • Experience developing product supply plans and balancing inventory to meet customer demand and business objectives.
  • Strong understanding of product allocation, forecasting, inventory management, and supply execution.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert data into actionable insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed organization.
  • Strong organizational, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify risks, recommend solutions, and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Experience driving business process improvements and continuous operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams.
  • Proficiency with SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience creating recurring and ad hoc reports to support business decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or other advanced degree.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI).
  • Knowledge of Tableau or similar data visualization tools.
  • Experience with global supply chain operations and distribution center management.
  • Familiarity with S&OP, forecasting, inventory optimization, and allocation planning.
  • Experience managing supply chain risks and contingency planning.
  • Strong background in process improvement, operational excellence, and business transformation.
  • Passion for continuous learning, innovation, and improving supply chain performance.
