We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused healthcare professional for a Level 1 AP Clinic assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality ambulatory patient care, support clinic operations, and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes in an outpatient clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
  • Perform patient assessments, obtain medical histories, and document findings accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Assist providers with examinations, procedures, treatments, and patient education.
  • Monitor patient conditions and report significant findings to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  • Coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient clinic operations and positive patient experiences.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations as permitted by scope of practice.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, preventive care, and follow-up instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and clinical activities.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, HIPAA, and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and ancillary staff.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and unrestricted applicable healthcare license/certification (as required by specialty).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of recent outpatient or ambulatory clinic experience preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient education skills.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high-volume outpatient clinic.
  • Familiarity with EPIC, Cerner, or other major EMR systems.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong commitment to patient-centered care and quality improvement initiatives.
