Level 1 RN Med/Surg 2N - PT D/N

RN – Med/Surg/Telemetry (Contract, Part-Time)

Location: New York 14456
Pay: $1,914 – $2,149/week
Shift: Part-Time, 2x12s (07:00 AM – 07:30 PM or 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM), scheduled as needed

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Med/Surg and telemetry patients

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care

• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to changes

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care

• Educate patients and families on treatment and post-discharge care

• Work scheduled shifts including every other weekend and holidays

Requirements

• Licensure: Active New York RN License – Required

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience – Required

• Certifications:

  • BLS (AHA/RQI) – Required

  • ACLS (AHA/RQI) – Required

  • NIHSS – Required

Additional Details

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens possible

• Must be flexible with scheduling based on unit needs
