Level 1 RN Med/Surg 3N

Position: Level 1 RN – Med/Surg 3N (Contract-to-Perm)

• Location: NY 14456

• Contract Length: 05/11/2026 – 08/22/2026 (~15 weeks)

• Pay: $1,991 – $2,235/week

• Schedule: Part-time, 2x12-hour variable shifts (days and/or nights; e.g., 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

• Hours: ~24 hours/week

• Requirements: Every other weekend, holidays, and 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks

• Orientation Requirement: Must be available to start full-shift orientation on a Monday and Tuesday

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Deliver direct Med/Surg nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Administer medications and monitor patient progress/response

• Educate patients/families on care and post-discharge needs

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team; ensure safe, quality care delivery

Requirements

• Active NYS RN License (required)

• BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA or RQI required)

• NIHSS certification (required)

• Minimum 1 year RN experience in Med/Surg

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills

• Ability to work variable shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call as required

• Commitment to patient-centered care and a healing environment

• Comfortable with potential exposure to blood/body fluids
