Level 1 RN Med/Surg

RN – Med/Surg (Level 1 | Contract-to-Perm)

Location: NY 14456
Contract Dates: March 30, 2026 – July 11, 2026 (15 weeks)
Pay: $1,914 – $2,149

Schedule:

• Part-time: 2x12-hour shifts (24 hrs/week)

• Day and/or night variable shifts (as scheduled by client)

• Every other weekend required

• Holidays required

• Rotational D/N/W/Holidays

• Must complete full-shift orientation on Monday + Tuesday

• Up to 2 on-call shifts per 4-week period

Position Summary & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct Med/Surg nursing care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care

• Deliver medication administration and clinical interventions

• Provide patient/family education for post-discharge self-care and lifestyle management

• Promote safety, infection control, and quality nursing standards

• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as needed

• Support emotional, psychosocial, and healing environment for patients/families

Requirements:

• Active NYS RN License required

• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience required

• BLS required (AHA or RQI only)

• ACLS required (AHA or RQI only)

• NIHSS certification required

• Must be able to start with full-shift orientation (Mon + Tue)

• Experience with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations required

• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens expected
