Level 1 RN Med/Surg – Contract to Perm (14 Weeks)

Location: NY 14456
Pay: $1,914 – $2,149/week
Schedule: Full-Time 3x12s, day/night shift variable, every other weekend, holidays, plus 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care on Med/Surg unit for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients

• Assess patient/family needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team

• Deliver patient/family education for post-discharge care and lifestyle management

• Promote patient comfort, safety, and emotional support in a Healing Environment

• Apply nursing interventions, including medication administration, infection control, and safety protocols

• Mentor, delegate, and collaborate with team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

• Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities

Requirements

• NYS RN Licensure (Required)

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA or RQI only accepted)

• Minimum 1 year Med/Surg RN experience
