Job Position: Level 1 Structured Cabling Technician

Central Texas is expanding fast, and structured cabling is the backbone of every new commercial build. If you ve got some experience pulling cable and want to sharpen your skills on real job sites, this is your opportunity to level up.
TradeSTAR is working with top low voltage contractors across the region who are looking for dependable Level I Structured Cabling Technicians ready to get to work.
What You ll Do:
-Pull, route, and label Cat5e, Cat6, and fiber optic cable
-Install support structures like J-hooks, bridle rings, and cable tray
-Assist with workstation outlet terminations (110-style, keystone jacks)
-Help with closet buildouts and basic rack & stack work
-Follow blueprints and cable pathways with supervision
-Maintain clean, organized job sites and follow safety standards
Who You Are:
-6 months to 2 years of structured cabling experience
-Familiar with pulling and labeling copper or fiber cable
-Basic understanding of commercial job site environments
-Some experience with terminations is a plus
-Ability to follow direction and work as part of a team
-Reliable transportation and solid work ethic

Compensation & Benefits:
-Pay: $20 $26/hour (based on experience)
