Role Description:

We are an established Tech firm in the DFW area looking for a Level 2 - NOC Engineer to join our team. If you have a working knowledge of complex systems and networks then you are the candidate that we want. Leadership skills and excellent communications are a must have for this position.

We are seeking an experienced Level 2 Technician to join our team in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. This position will work level 2 server and networking helpdesk issues and be an escalation point for our Tier 1 helpdesk team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications & Requirements

• An operational working knowledge of virtualization including VMWare, HyperV, Proxmox, and network storage systems. • Provide advanced technical support for desktops, servers, and network infrastructure at client sites and remotely. • Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and network issues. • Manage and maintain Active Directory, including user accounts, group policies, and access permissions. • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as data backups, patch management, and system updates.

• An operational working knowledge of networking architecture and technologies, including TCP/IP, VLANS, routing, switches, firewalls, DNS, VPN, and VoIP. • Cisco Fortinet SonicWALL • Working knowledge of Active Directory AD structure, default objects, roles, GPOs, and policies, and Windows Server Technologies, Windows Server, HyperV, RDS, SQL, IIS.

• Working knowledge of security policies and controls. • Experience with cloud technologies, Azure, O365, AWS, Google GSuite.

• Experience integrating and working within a high-volume helpdesk environment supporting various legacy and state-of-the-art technologies. • Diverse Operating System knowledge is a plus, Windows, Mac, Linux.

Education

• Bachelors degree required. • Experience: 3 years in systems architecture, administration, installation, and troubleshooting. • Preferred Certifications: Security, Network or equivalent network vendor certification, Cisco Fortinet Palo Alto SonicWALL, Microsoft platforms certifications, VMWare platform certifications, Other relevant certifications.
