Level 2 RN ICU

RN – ICU (Contract to Perm)

Location: NY 14456
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 8, 2026)

• Pay: $1,987 – $2,230/week

• Schedule: Full-time, 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)

  • Shift: Variable Days/Nights

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Rotation: Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays as needed

  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

  • On-Call: 2 on-call shifts every 4 weeks

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide ICU care across pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations: assess patients, develop/adjust care plans, administer treatments, and monitor outcomes

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and a healing environment

• Educate patients/families and adapt care based on age-specific needs

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License (required)

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications (AHA or RQI only)

• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call

• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills

• Computer literacy required

Additional Requirements (Post-Hire)

• Basic Coronary Care within 6 months

• CPI certification within 90 days

Preferred

• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office

• Additional certifications (e.g., TNCC or ENA certification within 2 years)
