RN – Pediatric Cardiac Care ICU (Contract)

Location: NY 14642
Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)

• Pay: $2,059 – $2,311/week

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts

  • Shift: 12-hour rotating schedule (Days/Evenings/Nights)

  • Hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

  • Rotation: Weekends, Holidays, On-call/Callback per unit needs

  • Charge responsibilities: As assigned per unit

Position Summary & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU-level nursing care for pediatric cardiac patients (infants to young adults) with complex congenital and acquired heart conditions

• Monitor telemetry, assess patient status, and implement/adjust care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team

• Deliver critical interventions, support post-surgical cardiac patients, and respond to changes in condition

• Ensure accurate documentation, patient safety, and family-centered education and support

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License (required)

• Minimum 2 years nursing experience

• Pediatric Cardiac Care experience required

• Telemetry experience required

• BLS (AHA only) required

• PALS (AHA only) required
