Norton Community Primary School is a warm and friendly community school that provides education for children aged 3-11. We currently have around 550 children on roll. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a dedicated, inspirational team that are committed to delivering high standards and the best education possible for our children. We are seeking to appoint Level 3 Teaching Assistants (Apprenticeship). 

You will support the class teacher to enhance pupils' progress and development either in groups or individually. You will apply a range of strategies to support learners of different abilities under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher.

 

Apprenticeship Overview:

Salary: Currently £12.71 an hour (National Living Wage)

Working Week: Monday to Friday Hours: 8.45am to 12.45pm

Duration: 18 months

To start: September 2026

Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship standard qualification Online training supported by a dedicated tutor

Location: Norton CP School

The successful candidate will obtain a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. Each apprentice will have their own dedicated tutor who will conduct regular tutorials and reviews, providing continuous support throughout the apprenticeship programme. Depending on the apprentice's needs, the frequency of these sessions may vary.

What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?

Potential employment for the right candidate upon successful completion of the apprenticeship.
