Level 4 RN – Operating Room

Level 4 RN – Operating Room (Contract) – New York 14642

• Pay: $2,108 – $2,365 per week

• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts

• Shifts: Days/Evenings/Nights (Rotating)

• Additional: On-call, callback, floating, weekends, and holidays per unit needs

Unit Overview:

• High-acuity Level 1 Trauma OR

• Specialties include: ortho, general, plastics, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma

• Utilizes Da Vinci robotic systems

• Active transplant program (liver, kidney, heart)

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate for a wide range of surgical procedures

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced OR setting

• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License required

• Minimum 2 years OR experience required

• Level 1 trauma experience preferred

• Must be able to scrub and circulate

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA only) required

• ACLS preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Transplants, plastics, reconstructive surgeries

• Craniotomy procedures

• Strong orthopedic background
