5+ years experience working on light-duty diesel trucks (Ram/Cummins, Ford Powerstroke, GM Duramax)Proven ability to perform advanced diagnostics and root-cause failure analysis (not a parts changer)Strong experience with:High-pressure fuel systems, turbochargers, and engine repair
DPF / SCR / DEF emissions systems and diagnostics
Electrical systems, CAN bus, and wiring diagnostics
Proficient with OEM diagnostic software:Ford IDS / FDRS, Cummins Insite, GM GDS2 (or equivalent)
Ability to read wiring diagrams, analyze data PIDs, and perform in-depth troubleshootingExperience performing major repairs (injectors, turbos, head gaskets, etc.)ASE A9 (Light Duty Diesel) preferred or equivalent experienceDemonstrated ability to work independently and mentor junior techniciansStrong documentation and communication skillsValid driver’s license and ability to lift 50–75 lbs
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines, fuel systems, emissions systems, drivetrains, and electrical components
Service light-duty diesel trucks including Ford Power Stroke, Dodge Cummins, and GM Duramax platforms or Diesel Pushers
Use OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and tools
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Document all work performed accurately and thoroughly
Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Mentor junior technicians and support a positive team culture
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Stay current with industry trends and certifications
