    Your Role: Fiber Technician

    (Level II / Level III Technician Opportunities Available)

    As a Fiber Technician, you ll support commercial low-voltage and structured cabling projects involving fiber optic backbone installation, splicing, testing, and troubleshooting.

    You ll work alongside experienced Lead Technicians, Foremen, and Project Managers to ensure systems are installed to industry standards and project specifications.

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Install, terminate, and splice fiber optic cabling

    • Perform fusion splicing and anaerobic terminations

    • Conduct OTDR, Power Meter, and VFL testing

    • Install racks, patch panels, enclosures, and fiber distribution systems

    • Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings

    • Troubleshoot and repair fiber network issues

    • Assist with conduit, cable tray, and pathway installations

    • Maintain clean and organized work areas on active job sites

    Project Environments Include:

    What We re Looking For

    • 1+ years of fiber optic installation, termination, or splicing experience

    • Experience with fusion splicing and fiber testing equipment

    • Ribbon fiber experience preferred

    • Understanding of structured cabling systems and commercial construction environments

    • Ability to work independently or assist in leading small crews

    • Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality

    • Reliable transportation and valid driver s license required

    • Ability to work flexible schedules as project demands require
