About the Opportunity

TradeSTAR is partnering with a nationally recognized security systems integrator known for delivering high-level access control, video surveillance, and intrusion systems across commercial and secure facilities. With continued growth across Texas and beyond, this company invests in technicians who want long-term career advancement and hands-on experience with enterprise-level systems.

What You ll Be Doing

  • Install and service access control systems including card readers, mag locks, strikes, door hardware, and control panels

  • Run, terminate, label, and test low-voltage cabling

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system layouts

  • Troubleshoot system performance issues and ensure reliable operation

  • Work alongside Lead Technicians, Foremen, and Project Managers to complete projects successfully

  • Assist in mentoring Helpers and Level I Technicians on job sites

  • Maintain organized, professional, and code-compliant installations

What We re Looking For

  • 2 4 years of commercial access control installation experience

  • Experience with card readers, mag locks, strikes, and integrated security hardware

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities and confidence working independently

  • Knowledge of low-voltage cabling standards and installation best practices

  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

  • A team-player mindset with leadership potential
