Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage robust network infrastructure solutions for our projects. In this role, you will analyze system connection requirements, develop engineering solutions, and provide ongoing support for the network architecture that ensures seamless connectivity between systems. Your expertise will be critical to maintaining the performance, reliability, and scalability of our network infrastructure.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Design and Implementation:

  • Analyze system connection requirements to determine optimal networking solutions that meet project needs.

  • Design, configure, and implement network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, thin clients, and servers.

  • Ensure network architecture is aligned with industry standards and project objectives.

2. Maintenance and Monitoring:

  • Monitor network performance to ensure system availability, reliability, and scalability.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and optimize functionality.

  • Regularly update and maintain network hardware, software, and configurations.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

  • Create and maintain up-to-date diagrams, schematics, and documentation of network solutions.

  • Prepare reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements to inform stakeholders and management.

4. Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of network systems with other project components.

  • Provide guidance and support to team members and stakeholders regarding network-related queries and challenges.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
    (Substitution: Four (4) years of professional experience may be substituted for two (2) years of educational requirements.)


  • Minimum CompTIA Network+ certification (required).

  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification (preferred).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware and software.

  • Strong familiarity with basic operating systems, including Linux and Windows.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, Project).
