TradeSTAR is looking for Structured Cabling Technicians for opportunities with one of our established low-voltage clients in Rowlett, TX.

You've already spent some time in the field. You know that a clean cable path matters, labels save headaches, and the details can make or break an installation. Now it's time to keep building your skills and take on more responsibility.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Level II Structured Cabling Technician, you'll put your existing skills to work while continuing to expand your technical experience. Your day may include:

• Installing, routing, dressing, and supporting voice and data cabling in commercial environments

• Working with Cat6 and fiber-optic cabling

• Performing structured cabling terminations

• Installing J-hooks, cable supports, and pathway components

• Labeling and organizing cabling according to project requirements

• Assisting with testing and troubleshooting installed cabling

• Reading and following prints, floor plans, and project instructions

• Working independently on assigned tasks while contributing to the overall installation team

• Maintaining quality workmanship and an organized work area

What We're Looking For

At Level II, you've got some field experience under your belt and you're ready for more.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2+ years of commercial structured cabling experience

• Hands-on experience pulling, routing, dressing, and terminating structured cabling

• Proficiency with Cat6 and fiber-optic installations

• Experience using common low-voltage hand tools and equipment

• Ability to follow prints and installation instructions

• Strong attention to workmanship and detail

• Dependable attendance and professional communication

• A desire to keep developing technical skills and advance within the low-voltage trade
