Forklift Operator / Festival Build Crew – Seasonal
Levitate Music Festival is looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to join our seasonal site operations team for festival build and breakdown.
This is a hands-on position that combines forklift operation with general labor and event site setup. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in a fast-paced environment and willing to assist wherever needed during festival production.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely around active build sites
- Load, unload, and move materials, inlcluding but not limited to pallets, staging, fencing, tents, and misc equipment
- Assist with general festival setup and breakdown
- Help site crews with manual labor and logistics tasks
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety procedures and directions from site managers
Requirements:
- Valid Massachusetts Hoisting License required
- Prior forklift operating experience required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work long hours outdoors
- Reliable transportation
- Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help with all aspects of production
- Experience with events, construction, or site operations is a plus
Schedule:
- Seasonal / temporary position
- Primarily focused around festival build and breakdown dates (estimated timeline July 11-24, 2026)
- Long shifts and weekend availability may be required
