We're looking for a Liability Manager with strong general liability adjusting experience to oversee claims, partner directly with carriers, and act as a liaison between the legal and risk management departments.This is an excellent opportunity for a carrier or TPA adjuster looking to leverage their expertise in a more proactive, relationship-driven environment.What You'll DoManage and oversee general liability claims from first notice through resolutionPartner with carriers, TPAs, and brokers to review reserves, strategy, and settlementsCollaborate with defense counsel on litigated claimsLead monthly/quarterly claim reviews and drive improved outcomesAnalyze loss trends and claim data to reduce exposure and costOversee workers' compensation claims and Return-to-Work programSupport safety, OSHA compliance, and loss control initiativesProvide regular reporting and insights to leadershipMaintain Safety Applications ManualsWhat We're Looking For3–5+ years of general liability claims adjusting experience (carrier or TPA preferred)Strong knowledge of coverage, investigation, reserving, and litigation managementExperience handling moderate to complex liability claimsComfortable working with attorneys, brokers, and insurance partnersAbility to analyze claims and influence outcomes-not just process themAdvanced knowledge of State and Federal law pertaining to employmentAbility to demonstrate confidentialityExcellent verbal and written communicationKnowledge of MS Office ApplicationsBonus If You Have:Industry designations (AIC, ARM, CPCU)Why This Role Stands OutMove from handling claims to influencing strategyLower volume, higher impact workDirect collaboration with carriers and leadershipOpportunity to shape risk and claims programs
