Liberty Partnership Program Coordinator (part-time)

Description

The Libety Partnership Program Coordinator will assist in supporting operations of the Hilbert College Liberty Partnerships Program within a 5th-8th grade Buffalo Public School. Manage the delivery of all Liberty Partnerships Program services and activities within the designated school district including skills assessment, tutoring, academic and personal counseling, mentoring, summer programs, and implement events geared towards supporting our students. This is a part-time twelve-month, grant-funded position.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting in managing the program budget.
  • Collaborate with program director, program coordinators, community partner, and other project managers to pursue program goals.
  • Supervise tutors, volunteers, and other program staff within the designated school district if needed.
  • Assist with hiring of program staff and volunteer screening as necessary.
  • Follow policies to ensure program success and foster engagement among students and families.
  • Support assessment of program activities including quality control and partner/participant satisfaction.
  • Ensure equal access and treatment for eligible program participants within the district.
  • Provide data and assessments to assure timely compliance with all regulations and file periodic reports.
  • Promote Liberty Partnerships Program to cohort members, their parents, and the district.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Liberty Partnership Program.

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or in process of a degree required.
  • Experience in an education, communications, or human services environment.
  • Computer literacy skills. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal/human relations skills; commitment to providing excellent customer service; problem solving, budget management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to plan, prioritize, and coordinate multiple projects in a team setting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation: $25.00 per hour
