Minimum Qualifications
Salary is determined upon qualification level Intern Level: Must be currently enrolled in an American Librarian Association (ALA) Masters degree program. Must provide an acceptance letter from the dean. Must provide an official transcript indicating applicant has taken (or is currently taking) Master of Library Science or related program courses or registration document indicating applicant is enrolled for the current term. Must be able to work weekends and nights. (Salary: $51,922.65) Trainee Level: Must be currently enrolled in an American Library Association (ALA) accredited graduate school Masters degree program in Library Science or related program and have completed at least 18 semester credits in Library Science or related program. Must be able to work weekends and nights. (Salary: $54,006.04) Librarian Level: Masters degree in Library Science or related program from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited graduate school. Must be able to work weekends and nights. (Salary: $57,266.58)

A Special Collections Archivist performs highly self-directed archival work focused on creating finding aids and improving access to archival collections. Responsibilities include specialized reference, research, and customer service for patrons; active outreach for archive promotion and collection development; and the development and leadership of archival instruction workshops. The role also supports grant activities, including implementation and reporting, and supervises interns and volunteers involved in archival projects.
