Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in Library Science or related program from an ALA accredited graduate school. Two years of professional experience as a librarian are required.

This role is responsible for daily operations, administrative duties, and implementing systemic collection development policies. A core focus of the position is team leadership, which includes supervising, training, and developing a diverse staff of professional, para-professional, technical, and clerical personnel to foster a collaborative culture. Additionally, the Librarian 3 drives community engagement through impactful local outreach. This position reports directly to the Library Operations Manager, who evaluates performance based on the successful achievement of strategic organizational objectives.
