Description
The City of Burlingame is accepting applications for a PART-TIME (APPROXIMATELY 18 HOURS PER WEEK), year-round Library Aide at the Burlingame Main Library.
The Library Aide performs various routine and repetitive tasks relating to the maintenance of the library collection. Duties include shelving, sorting, filing and shifting of books, periodicals and other library materials. Maintains library stacks and other areas in clean order. May be asked to assist in a variety of special projects and services as needed.
The current hours for this position are a combination of morning, evening, and weekend shifts.

Ability to stoop, bend and crouch to retrieve materials and books; lift books or other materials weighing up to 40 pounds; sit, stand and walk for long periods of time; push a fully loaded book truck; climb stairs.
SALARY
The salary range for this position is $18.60 - $22.61 per hour.
