Job DescriptionThe City of Saratoga Springs currently has openings for Library Clerk I and II; you must be able to work one of the schedules listed below.The Library Clerk I performs a variety of basic duties related to the circulation of materials, special programing and assisting customers. This position requires attention to detail, good organization skills, basic knowledge of library reference, circulation, cataloging and classification methods, practices and procedures and the ability to work positively with the general public. This position requires a general understanding of the departments' mission, goals, services, technology, policies, and procedures. You must be able to work the schedule listed under schedule to be eligible for the position. Library Clerk II works under the specific direction of a Librarian and the general supervision of Library Director.
