As a Library Materials Assistant, you'll help ensure materials get into the hands of patrons quickly while contributing to a welcoming, organized, and efficient library environment.

About the Library

Hillsboro Public Library is a community-centered space focused on access, inclusion, and lifelong learning. Our Materials Movement team works both behind the scenes and on the service floor to keep collections organized, available, and easy to navigate for everyone.

  • Manage high volumes of incoming and returned materials
  • Support collection organization and shifting projects
  • Assist with processing and troubleshooting automated materials systems

  • Comfort working independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow established systems and processes consistently
