Library Media Specialist

The School District of Wausaukee is seeking to employ a 1.0 FTE Library Media Specialist.

• Technology Leadership: You''ll be a key player in planning, providing, and advancing instructional technology, and an active participant or leader on the school''s Technology Committee.

• Curriculum Collaboration: You''ll work closely with teachers to enhance effective technology use across all subjects.

• Visionary Leadership: You''ll be expected to create and implement a vision for the Library Media Center (LMC) as a thriving hub of learning and engagement.

• Student-Centered Approach: You''ll cultivate a secure, respectful, and inviting learning atmosphere that motivates students and promotes their social, emotional, and academic growth.

Requirements:

• Master''s Degree: Must hold a Master's degree from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited program (or an equivalent master's level program accredited by the appropriate national body in another country).

• Wisconsin Certification: Must be a certified Library Media Supervisor by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
