Job Description
CESA 11 is seeking a dynamic and student-centered Library Media Specialist to provide shared services to assigned member school districts.
This position serves assigned districts on a scheduled basis aligned to contracted services.
The ideal candidate will foster a love of reading, support curriculum needs, and develop student information and digital literacy skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled library services across assigned districts
- Manage library operations including circulation and organization
- Promote literacy through programs and engagement
- Collaborate with educators to support curriculum
- Support the teaching of research skills and digital citizenship
- Maintain and update collections
- Support technology integration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Wisconsin DPI Library Media Specialist licensure required or eligible
- Experience in school/library setting preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Position Details
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- Salary/Wage: Based on experience and contracted services
- Terms/Schedule: Minimum 60-day total contract (.4 FTE); varies based on district needs
- Appointment Type: Part Time
