Position Title: Library Media Specialist

Department/Location: West High School

Job Classification: Professional Staff

Reports to: Principal, Associate Principal

Anticipated Start Date: August 17, 2026

Anticipated Hours: 40 hours per week

Anticipated Rate of Pay: Commensurate with experience

The Wauwatosa School District (WSD) is seeking candidates interested in serving as a Library Media Specialist at West High School. West serves approximately 918 students.

The Library Media Specialist uses their expertise to ensure that the school library program (SLP) is aligned with the mission, goals, and strategic objectives of the school and the Wauwatosa School District. The Library Media Specialist will use the foundation, standards, and goals of a Future Ready Librarian for the library program.
