The Orem Public Library is currently hiring for Library Pages. This is a non-benefited position responsible for sorting and shelving library books and non-print media items. Pages also examine items on shelves to make sure they are in the proper order. Performs other duties as assigned. General knowledge of library operations and procedures. Knowledge and understanding of the Dewey Decimal System and other alphabetical and numerical filing systems used in the Library. Must be able to perform duties that include light physical effort such as bending, stooping, walking, and lifting items that weigh up to 40 pounds. Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background investigation. $10.00 per hour.
