Job Description

  • Pay rate: $12.22/hour

  • Processing

  • Perform physical processing of library materials

  • Perform basic preservation such as creating book jackets

  • Assist with preparing and receiving bindery shipments

  • Shelving

  • Organizing books alphabetically in the cataloging backlog

  • Shelving serials in the Library Lounge

  • Additional tasks to be assigned by supervisor

Must have work study

Undergraduate

Skills required:

  • Basic computer skills

  • Hand skills

  • Attention to detail/craftsmanship

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous library experience,

  • Being a crafty person
