Library Program Specialist (Part-Time) | City of Bandon Library
The Bandon Library is seeking a creative and community-focused Library Program Specialist to plan and lead engaging programs for youth and adults while assisting with daily library operations.
Pay: $20.00/hourHours: Approximately 20 hours per week
Responsibilities include:
Planning and facilitating library programs and events
Leading preschool story time and literacy activities
Community outreach and partnership development
Marketing library programs
Assisting with library operations, circulation, and cataloging
Supporting the Library Director with reports and special projects
Requirements
A passion for libraries, literacy, education, and community engagement
Strong communication and customer service skills
Basic computer proficiency and a willingness to learn library systems
A collaborative and positive approach to working with patrons, staff, and community partners
The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience planning programs, activities, or events
