Description
The Technical Lab Lead provides hands-on leadership within the Technology Library's advanced lab environments, serving as the resident subject matter expert in artificial intelligence, robotics, and digital content creation.
This position bridges the gap between technology instruction and technical operations - delivering and supporting cutting-edge programming for advanced patrons and community members, while also providing first-level technical assistance across all makerspace and lab areas in coordination with the Lead Technology Specialist. The Technical Lab Lead champions innovation, mentors instructional staff, and helps position the library as a community hub for emerging technology exploration and applied learning.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Instructional Design, Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Media, Education Technology, Library Science, or a closely related field. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience: Three (3) years' hands-on experience in at least two of the following areas: artificial intelligence tools and applications, robotics and programming education, or makerspace technology instruction; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training and/or experience as determined by Human Resources. Demonstrated experience developing and delivering technology instruction or workshops for varied audience types.
