Position Summary:

The Benefits Account Manager / Insurance Service Representative is responsible for supporting clients with employee benefits administration, insurance communications, policy servicing, and coverage support. This role requires strong knowledge of employee benefits, insurance carrier systems, and California Life & Health insurance regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist producers with client communications, proposals, and policy support
  • Utilize carrier portals including:
    • Kaiser
    • Health Net
    • Anthem Blue Cross / Blue Shield
    • Cal Choice
    • Warner Pacific
    • United Healthcare
  • Deliver policy and plan documentation to clients
  • Follow up with clients regarding changes affecting benefit coverage needs
  • Process employee benefit plan changes, corrections, additions, and deletions
  • Explain benefit plan coverage, eligibility, and insurance options to subscribers
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors regarding COBRA administration
  • Maintain accurate records within EASE, Sagitta, and/or AMS 360 systems
  • Support overall client service and account management activities

Job Requirements:

  • Active California Life & Health License required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits, life insurance, and financial planning concepts
  • Ability to explain complex insurance plans and policies clearly
  • Experience with:
    • EASE employee benefits platform
    • Sagitta and/or AMS 360
    • Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
    • Adobe PDF software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous insurance sales or benefits administration experience highly preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred
