Licensed Addiction Counselor (LCAS-A) – Outpatient Treatment | Hickory, NC

New Season Treatment Centers is seeking a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LCAS-A) to join our outpatient treatment team in Hickory, NC. What You'll Do:
• Complete patient intakes, admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation
• Perform psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide individual, group, and family counseling
• Maintain a minimum of 20 hours of direct patient counseling each week
• Educate patients on addiction, recovery, relapse prevention, and healthy coping strategies
• Identify behavioral health and case management needs while coordinating patient care
• Collect urine drug screens and patient identification documentation
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical documentation
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinic leadership to deliver exceptional patient care
Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
• Active North Carolina LCAS-A license required
• Experience in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, or mental health counseling preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
